Donald C. Leach's Obituary
Donald C. Leach, age 85, of St. Clair, died December 24, 2011. He was born to the late Wilfred and Leila Leach on August 8, 1926 in Warwack Twp., Ontario, Canada. He married Marion MacIntosh on August 11, 1944 in Watford, Canada. He became a U.S. citizen in 1954. He worked for many years as a foreman at the Rubber Company in Marysville. He enjoyed gardening and yardwork. He was also very proud of building his family home even digging the basement by hand.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years; Marion Leach, daughter; Diana (Ray) Lewan, grandsons; David (Shawna) Bronson and Donovan Bronson, great granchildren; Davana, Austin, David, and Dokken, sisters; Margaret Grant and Mae McLean. He was preceded in death by sons; Michael Avan Leach and Jerold Mietford Leach, and his brothers; Vern and Ray Leach.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 30 at L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery, East China. Visiting hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to service. www.lcfandson.com
