Mr Donald Norman Walker's Obituary
Donald Norman Walker age 89 of St. Clair died, Friday March 15, 2013.
Don was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan ,December 9, 1923 to the late William and Jennie Walker. Don became a US citizen with is family on the Blue Water Bridge. He graduated from St. Clair High School, Class of 1944 and worked for Diamond Crystal Salt for 41 and 1/2 years, retiring 1986, walking to work every day. .He followed Tiger baseball since 1933 and was an avid music collector and shutter bug. which left the family with a treasure of home movies and priceless photos. He loved his Lord and was a life member of the First United Methodist Church, St. Clair. He will be sadly missed by his caregivers and best friends Susan Mason and Rex Boswell, and two special cousins Dorothy Shafran and Bette Dandron, many cousins and his loving cat Zoe.
Visitation at the L. C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home Tuesday from 2-4and 6-8 PM. In state Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church from 10 AM till service at 11 AM. Burial Hillside Cemetery. Memorials to the church
