St. Clair
Donald W. Broughton, age 86 of St. Clair died, Friday, August 17,2012.
He was born February 26, 1926 in River Rouge to the late Wesley and Bernice Broughton. Donald served as a Marine in WWII, having fought on Iwo Jima.
He worked for Detroit Edison and was the former plant supervisor in Marysville and Harbor Beach. He married Florence Clark on April 30, 1949.
Donald is survived by his wife of 63 years, Florence; daughters,
Diane (Brian) Carpenter, Janet (Bill) Toth and Christine (Emil) Kirchhoff;
grand children Shannon Iles, Alex Toth and David Rice; brother-in-law
Lawrence Clark.
Cremation has taken place, the family will receive friends, Thursday from 1pm till 2 PM when veterans honors will be held in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home . Memorials may be made to Season Hospice.
