David "Putch" Westrick's Obituary
David "Putch" Westrick, 88, passed away peacefully August 15, 2011 in Algonac. He was born July 14, 1923, in St. Clair
the son of Nelson and Bernice (Blanchard) Westrick.
Putch was a graduate of St. Clair High school class of 1941, he sailed the great lakes for several years and retired from Alloy Trailer in Algonac.
Putch enjoyed watching and feeding the wildlife in his backyard. Putch was one of the elite who had a boat house on Pine River, where he enjoyed pickerel and perch fishing in his earlier years.
He was predeceased by his wives Barbara Westrick and Gertrude Klecha-Westrick, brothers Calvin "Chubb" Westrick and Alan "Tarch" Westrick. Survivors include Son David Krenke of Venice, Fla.
Step-son J.B. Klecha of Veazie, ME, Step-Daughter Sandy Fairall of Leesburg, VA, 8 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday 8/31/11 at St. Mary's Cemetery, St. Clair.
