David A. Hunwick's Obituary
HUNWICK, David A., age 75, passed away to be with our Lord on June 21, 2025 at home in St. Clair, Michigan after a five year battle with Leukemia. He was born May 16th, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan to Detroit Lieutenant Gerald Hunwick and Gladys Hunwick, both deceased.
He graduated in 1968 from Finney High School in Detroit, Michigan. David served in the United States Navy as an Operation Specialist 2nd Class, Petty Officer, and Radarman 2nd Class on the U.S.S. Valcour and the Sim's.
He received an associate degree from St. Clair County Community College. He then served as the plant manager for Ontario Die Company of America at the Port Huron, Michigan site, until retirement.
He enjoyed boating, model trains and traveling with his beloved wife of 25 years, Lois A. Hunwick.
He is survived by his sons, Matthew and Scott Hunwick and a brother Thomas (Gail) Hunwick.

Memorial service with military honors will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 12 at Lakeside Cemetery Veterans Wall located on the corner of Krafft Rd. and Gratiot in Fort Gratiot, Michigan 48059.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair.
