I taught next door to Colleen at Regina High School. She was a wonderful teacher who challenged her students. You would always find students in her room after school to just chat. I had the utmost respect for her and considered her a friend. Long after she left Regina she stopped by to see me. It was so good to see her. I know she will be missed by many. God bless you Colleen.

Why did we not take the time to reunite?
You were one of my dearest friends and associates during my time at Regina.
Our friendship degenerated to a note at Christmas as we went different ways after leaving Regina. The last time I saw you was at St. Joan, after Mass. you were visiting the Gerstners and as we chatted we planned to “someday get together for lunch or dinner”. Well I guess you will have to wait until I join you on the other side.
I will miss you but know you are in a better place. You have influenced many people in your life. Please add my name to the list.

Cathy and I send our most heart felt condolences to Mike and your entire family and friends. It seemed if only yesterday, that there appeared some healing to Colleen's bout with COVID-19. Sad, yet no matter the circumstance of loosing one's "soul-mate", life continues on no matter how lonely and alone the journey demands. This, the first Sunday of lent, we offer this season, this reason to honor, to sanctify her life and that of her entire family.
