Clifford F. Hock age 87 of St. Clair died Friday, August 13, 2004. clif was born September 10, 1916 in St. Clair to the late Simon and Sue Hock. He graduated from St. Clair High School in 1935. After graduation, he sailed the lakes and worked at Morton Salt. Clif served in the US Navy during WW II. He married Marian Messmore on June 24, 1950 and Marian died January 26, 1997. Clif owned and operated the St. Clair Marine from 1959 until he retired in 1975. He was a member of St. Mary''s Catholic church, the Ushers Club and St.Clair K of C. Clif is survived by a son, Jack (Claudia) Hock of Florida, two daughters, Marjorie (Ed)Ullery of St. Clair Shores and Laurel (Jim) Friederichs of St. Clair. Two grandsons, Josh Friederichs and Clifford R. Hock. One sister, Eloise Speck. Two nieces; several cousins and special friend, Harri. Visitation is Monday from 4PM until 9PM at the L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. He''ll lie in state Tuesday at St. Mary''s Catholic Church from 10:30AM until the time of Mass at 11AM. Burial will be in St. Mary''s Cemetery. Memorials be made to St. Mary''s School.
