Charles G. Kersten's Obituary
Charles G. Kersten age 77 of St. Clair died Tuesday, September 19, 2006. Charles was born April 3,1929 to the late Elmer & Meta Kersten, He married Arlene Miller and was a Chief with the Detroit Fire Department, retiring in 1986. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair.
Charles is survived by his wife, Arlene, two daughters Charr (Bob) Rams and Sharon (Tom) Lucas,
Grandchildren Joe (Angela), Ron and Stephanie Lucas, Kirsten and Kellie Rams, a sister Nita Reppenhagen. He was preceded in death by a sister Audrey (Robert) Gamble.
Cremation has taken place, the family will receive friends Thursday, Sept 21 at the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair from 4-9 PM. A memorial service will be held Saturday Sept 30 at 11 AM, Immanuel Lutheran Church. Memorials to Donors Choice.
