Charles "Chuck" Gambino's Obituary
Charles J.“ Chuck”Gambino age 84 of St. Clair, died Saturday, October 17, 2015.
Chuck was born in Detroit January 13, 1931 to the late John and Catherine Gambino. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army and worked for Chrysler Corporation retiring in 1988. Chuck was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and sang in the choir. He is survived by his wife Rosmarie, Son John Gambino, daughters, Laurie (Ron) Gambino-Defore and Shellie Gambino-Gravila, grand children Brittany (Jeff) Defore-True and Charles and Steven Gravila and John Defore, great grand daughter Jayden True and sister Mary A. Ullmann. In Addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother Samuel Gambino Sr.. Besides being a devoted husband and father, father-in-law, grand father, great grand father, he was also a wonderful uncle, great uncle and had many close cousins. . Visitation Thursday from 2-9 PM in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home. In state Friday in St. Mary's Catholic church, from 10 am till mass at 11 AM. Memorials may be made to the church organ fund.
