Calvin "Chub" Westrick's Obituary
Calvin "Chub" Westrick, age 76, of St. Clair died Saturday, July 17, 2004. Chub was born in St. Clair, November 3, 1927 to the late Bernice and Nelson Westrick. He married Mary Jane Crawford in 1950. Chub worked for Chrysler Co. in Marysville until retirment in 1990. He was a member of the St. Clair Fire Department for 38 years and a Councilman in St. Clair for 20 years. Chub is survived by his wife Mary Jane, three children, Edward (Sharon) Westrick, Jeffrey(Melissa) Westrick and Cindy (Michael)Distelrath. Five grandchildren, Edward Westrick,II, Jason (Nickie) Westrick, Matt (Nicholle) Stein, Michael Distelrath, Jonathan Distelrath, and Mary Distelrath. Two great grandchildren, Edward J. Westrick,III, and Mia Westrick. Two brothers, David "Putch" (Gert) Westrick and Alan "Tarch" (Jo Ann Westrick.
Visitation is Monday, July 19, at the L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair from 2-9PM. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 20, at 11AM in the funeral home. The Rev. Roland Troike, officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Memorials to Blue Water Hospice or St. Peter''s Lutheran Church. Pallbearers will be Jon Distelrath, Edward Westrick, Jr., Jason Westrick, Alan "Tarch" Westrick and Chad Westrick. Honorary pallbearer, Michael Distelrath.
