Brian L. Smith's Obituary
Brian L. Smith age 54 of St. Clair died Monday May, 10, 2004, at home after a long illness. Brian was born May 6, 1950 in St. Clair to Ruth (Hartlien) and the late Clayton Smith. Brian was a life long St. Clair resident and he worked as a Captain for Gaelic Tug Boat Company/ Diamond Jack Tours. He graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in Business Administration and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair. Brian is survived by his mother Ruth, his bother Terry (Nancy) Smith of Kennesaw, Georgia. Nieces Jennifer and Melissa, several aunts and cousins, and many dear friends. In addition to his father Clayton, Brian was also preceded in death by his brother Dennis Smith. Cremation has taken place; the family will receive friends at the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral home Thursday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. A memorial service will be held Friday 11 AM, from Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Rev. Alan Schwieger, officiating.
