Beulah retired from the City of St. Clair after 35 years of service. During World War II she worked at Chrysler as part of the war effort.
While Beulah had no children of her own, she was particularly close to “Her boys” – great-nephews: John W., Gerry, and Dan. She was also very close to her caregiver of many years, Tina Britz.
Beulah loved dogs, enjoyed visiting on her porch, and eating. Each CHRISTmas Eve, Beulah and Gerry celebrated with two well decorated trees, cookies, and by listening to old 45 records from the 1940s, 50s, and 60s.
Beulah received excellent medical care from Dr. Igor Nedic of Physicians Health Care, and her nurse Renee Gerrits of Reverence Home Care. John W. and Miriam Mason stayed by her side 24/7 for the final 38 days of her life so that she could remain in her home with the help and guidance of Reverence Home Hospice Care.
Beulah supported a variety of charities including the St. Clair County Humane Society, St. Clair County Council on Aging, St. Clair County Salvation Army, Leader Dogs for the Blind, American Heart Association, and American Cancer Society; memorial donations may be made to the same.
