Betty L. LaPorte age 78 of St. Clair died Saturday, June 21, 2008. Betty was born
August 18,1929 in Marine City
She married Phillip LaPorte in 1948 and he died July 28, 1998. Betty worked at St. Clair High School cafeteria for many years, she enjoyed body recall and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair and the D of I
She is survived by he two sons Mike LaPorte and Dennis LaPorte and her two
daughters Lori (Mike) Muldermans and Danette (Michael) Hayman.
Grandchildren Nathan LaPorte, Angie (Craig) Melms, Chad (Hollie) Muldermans,
Adam Muldermans, Melissa (Jim) Frank, Lucas, Hayman, Cody Hayman, Chelsea Hayman and Allyson Hayman, great grand children Emily and Cody Melms. She was also preceded in death by her sister Bernetta “Boo” Benson
Visitation at L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, Monday from 5-8 PM
and Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 PM
In state Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair from 9:30 AM till 10 AM when mass will be celebrated.
