Mrs Betty Richter's Obituary
Betty C Richter, 90, passed away Friday, May 4, peacefully at Life Care Center in Longmont, Colorado.
She was born October 19, 1921 in St. Clair, Michigan to Arthur and Frances Ahles. While working at the Diamond Crystal Salt Co., she meet and wed the love of her life, Bill. A working mother with three children, she helped cook and serve meals for many years at St. Clair High School. She enjoyed planting flowers, traveling with her husband, bird watching, helping others, and caring for her pets and her grand-kids. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
Her memory will live on in the many lives she so lovely touched.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her daughter, Linda Reese; and her brother, Loren Ahles.
She is survived by her son, David (Loretta), Longmont, CO; her daughter, Kathryn, Longmont, CO; her granddaughters, Stephanie, Amy, Stacie, and Rachel; her great-grandchildren, Addison, Aiden, Isaac, and Zarina; her sisters, Rita Gunn and Marilyn Pegg; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at L C Friederich & Son, 214 Trumbull St, St Clair, MI on Thursday, May 10 from 6pm to 9pm. In state Friday. Friday, May 11 at St. Peters Lutheran church, St. Clair from 12 noon till service at 1 PM
Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery.
