Bernard DeMeyer's Obituary
Bernard DeMeyer age 72 of St.Clair, formerly of St. Clair Shores, died Tuesday April, 8, 2003 after a short battle with lung cancer. Bernard was born June 25, 1930, in Detroit. He married Jean Belfoy, December 29, 1951. Bernard worked as a Stationary Engineer for the Detroit Schools, retiring in 1990, and he was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army. He was a member of St. Mary''s Catholic Church, St. Clair.
He survived by is wife of 52 years Jean, Daughters Laurie (Dr. Mark) Hamilton, Linda DeMeyer, Janet DeMeyer, & Kathleene (Curt) LeBeau, Son James (Johanna) DeMeyer. grandchildren Robert, Stephanie & Lindsay Hamilton. Matthew & Jacob LeBeau, step-grandchildren Timothy, Paul & Charles Dillon. Sisters Eunice Verhaeverbeke, Shirley (William) Engel, Margaret (Gary) Stewart & Donna Combs. Brother Kenneth (Joan) DeMeyer. proceeded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Visitation Thursday from the L.C.Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, 2-9 PM with scripture service at 8:30 PM. Friday from St. Mary''s Catholic Church(Sixth and Vine Streets), St. Clair from am till mass at 10 AM. Burial St. Mary''s Cemetery. Memorials to the Church or the American Lung Association
