Beatrice Mae Springborn age 92 of St. Clair, died Monday June 7, 2004. Bea was born June 16, 1911 in St. Clair to the late Albert & Ada (Emig) Huffmaster. Bea was a lifetime resident of St. Clair, and was employed at Thermal Plastics during the war, the St. Clair Inn, Michigan Bell Telephone and until retirement, at River District Hospital. She enjoyed square dancing and bowling and was a member of the St. Clair Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Bea married Clyde Springborn, November 23, 1929 and he died November 24, 1996. Bea and Clyde were also preceded in death by their son Bob, who died during the Korean War. Bea is survived by her brothers Earl and Alvin Huffmaster. She was also preceded in death by brothers Raymond, Clarence and William Huffmaster, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation begins Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM with funeral service Friday at 11 AM from the Funeral Home, the Rev. Glenn Stone officiating. Burial in Hillside Cemetery. Memorials to St. Clair Fire Department Auxiliary.
