Athur J. Shafran age 62 of St. Clair, died Saturday, May, 2004. Art was born August 9, 1941 in St. Clair to the late Edmund and Adella (Mau) Shafran. Art is survived by his wife Rose, 2 sons Jeff (Tereasa) and Shane Shafran. Daughter Jennifer(Mark) Phillips. Step children James & Michael Shurkey, Rose (Cedric) Queener, 13 grandchildren. Brother James (Sandy) Shafran, sisters Ruth (Dr. John) Posey, Mary (Ross)Palmer, Donna (Fred) Stuewer & Sharon (Joe) Conard. Brother in laws, James D. Pascoe, William E. (Nancy) Pascoe, Howard E. (Nancy) Pascoe, Lawrence D.(Jackie) Pascoe & Nancy Anne Pascoe. Visitation at the L.C.Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, Sunday 4-8 PM and Monday 3-5 and 7-9 PM. In state Tuesday at St.Peter''s Lutheran Church, St. Clair from 10 AM till servie at 11 AM, the Rev Roland Troike, officaiting. Memorials to the church or donor''s choice.
