Ann C. Barry's Obituary
Ann C. Barry, age 94 of St. Clair died Wednesday, February 15, 2012
Ann was born January 21, 1918 to the late James and Nellie
Graham Barryin Port Huron, where she lived until 1953. She moved to her mother’s homestead in St. Clair on Yankee Road where her grand parents purchased in 1867.
She graduated from St Stephen's High School in 1936. She worked at the Chrysler Marysville plant an the Ford Motor Company in Dearborn before starting with
Citizens Federal Savings and Loan in July of 1944. She graduated from the
Graduate School of Savings and Loan at Indiana University in 1960. Miss Bary was Vice president and Controller until she started early retirement in February of 1977. She worked part time during early retirement until 1983. She enjoyed bowling, golf, and traveling, and belong to the same bridge club for over 50 years.
She is survived by a sister Betty Konik, nephew Leo (Susan) Konik, great nephew Michael Konik, and many more great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Helen, Delia and Marion and her brothers Leo, Harold, David, Fred and John, and brother –in-law Al Konik.
Funeral service Friday at 3 PM in the chapel at St. Mary’s Cemetery, St. Clair.
