Anna Lavely's Obituary
Anna Lavely, age 76, of Marine City, passed away unexpectedly on January 16, 2023, with her loving family at her side. Anna was born February 11, 1946 in Marine City to the late Lawrence and Theresa Lavely.
Anna formerly worked at Marina Bay Lodge, Diamond Crystal Salt Plant and Cardinal Mooney School until her retirement. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, OLR Parish. Anna enjoyed watching game shows, scratch off tickets and a lively game of euchre. Her family will fondly remember how Anna loved preparing Sunday dinners to share with her family.
She is survived by her siblings, Mary Agnes Madek, Midge Lavely, Larry (Darlene) Lavely, John (Nancy) Lavely, Katie (Al) Sharrow, Linda Lavely and Teri (Dennis) Simmons; nieces and nephews, Tracy Childs, Mark Madek, Chris Madek, Mary Cronyn, Shawn Sharrow, Kelly Sharrow, Trisha Rutledge and special great niece, Kyla Albo and many great nieces and great nephews.
Anna is predeceased by her brother in law, Bill Madek and nephew, Billy Madek.
Funeral mass will be held Friday January 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, OLR Parish, Marine City. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary recital at 7:00 p.m. at L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. Additional visitation Friday at church 10:30 to 11:00 a.m.
Serving as pallbearers are Shawn Sharrow, Sandy Rutledge, Anthony Albo, Chris and Mark Madek, Tim Cronyn and Matthew Lavely.
