Alma Freer's Obituary
Alma Freer age 83 of Morristown Tenn, died March 31, 2008. Alma was born in Marine City, June 19, 1924 to the late Ira and Helen Sanger. The family moved to St. Clair and Alma graduated from St. Clair High School. She worked for Detroit Gasket for 38 years. She married John Freer, March 31, 1945 and he died Sept. 13, 1981.
Alma is survived by her daughter Jo Ann (James) Waddell, two grand daughters Traci Shepherd and Cathy Chambers, great grand children Devin Bradley, Shentelle Bradley, Elizabeth Shepherd, Keegan Chambers and Terrin Chambers. Brothers, Donald, Herbert and Jim Sanger, sisters Dorothy Hassler, Eloise Smith, brother –in-law Guido Ofeno and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Wesley and John Sanger, and sisters Minnie Johnson, Rachel Murray, Helen Krokker, Ruth Burke and Margueritte Ofeno.
Visitation Friday in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. In state Saturday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church from 10:30 Am till service at 11 AM. Burial Hillside Cemetery
