Alice J. Lackie's Obituary
On December 3, 2010 Alice Emig Lackie, age 79, went home to her Lord. Alice’s faith, strength, and passion will be treasured by her family and friends, while the ever-present joy within each of them is embedded through her compassionate generosity; the only way to truly describe this matriarch would be to look at the adoring faces of all those she touched. The time-honored traditions she imprinted throughout her years will be tenderly remembered and carried on for generations to come; thus leaving a little piece of our cherished mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and role-model with us through every holiday, birthday card, apple pie, Christmas cookie baking, and seemingly endless feel-good, happy moments that her legacy will continue to bring more smiles and joy than one could possibly ever imagine. Although great sadness engulfs us as we miss our dear Alice beyond words we celebrate her life and cherish the memories she left behind.
