Alice C. West's Obituary
Alicie C. West, age 90 of St. Clair, died Wednesday, June 25, 2003. Alice was born September 22, 1912 in England. She married Percival J. West, January 10, 1927 and he died 1979. Alice worked for Service Diamond Co. for 41 years. She was a member of the Salvation Army (32 years) and the Golden Agers Kitchen Band (15 years).
Alice is survived by a son, John J. West of Gladwin, MI. A daughter, Margaret A. (Donald) Ross of St. Clair. Grandchildren, Donald S. (Michelle) Ross of St. Clair and Lynda C. (Jerry ) Clardy of Lexington. Seven great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons. Her brother, Donald (Ruth) Dickie. In addition to her husband, Percival, Alice was preceded in death by a sister, Roberta J. Adkins and brother, Malcom A. Dickie.
Visitation, Thursday 2-8PM from the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home with funeral services at 11AM on Friday from the funeral home. The Rev. William Blount officiating.
Burial is in Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak. Pallbearers will be Donald S. Ross, Jerry Clardy, David West, Jermey Ross, Aaron Ross and Jared Clardy. Memorials to the Salvation Army or Fellowship Bapitist Church.
