I knew Mr. Schneider since I was 7. My father worked with him at Diamond Crystal. He helped me learn to water ski and kept in touch with me every year until 2005. I am looking at the last envelope. I hope to find a new address for him. My father passed in 2011. He will always hold a special place in my heart.
Fritz was quite a guy! He was a man of strong Christian faith and longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church who was proud of his German heritage. If you asked Fritz to bring a passing dish" you were likely to be treated to a batch of fudge! He was a ready volunteer and I personally spent time with him at the Ecumenical Food Pantry. There is a chair there with his name on it, as he would rest and visit with the patrons. He was a wonderful servant of the Lord!
