Russell "Rusty" Mollan

Russell “Rusty” Mollan, age 68, of East China, passed away unexpectedly May 13, 2022. He was born November 20, 1953, in Burbank, California to the late Russell and Grace Mary Mollan. Rusty worked as the City Treasurer for the City of St. Clair for over 30 years, retiring in December of 2019. Rusty was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He loved golfing, playing baseball, working around the yard, he was an avid bird watcher, but most of all he enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends especially watching his grandkids play sports. Rusty is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Cathy Mollan; sons, Chris (Melanie) Mollan, Matt (Tanya) Mollan; grandchildren, Lily, Aiden, Kade, Mason, Reece, Kendall; siblings, Tom (Julie) Mollan, Tim (Linda) Mollan, Pam (Chris) LaMilza along with many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of life will take place Wednesday May 18, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair with visiting Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. along with Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
